Mixed nutsNuts are a very nutritious food. They are known for their cardio-protective benefits, simply meaning they are good for your heart! Lots of research studies have come out to show that nuts decrease levels of LDLs (commonly referred to as bad cholesterol). I just threw some extra cashews in my mouth before going in to see my next patient. We would much rather take preventative measures ahead of time to take care of our bodies than to deal with the dire consequences later.
